I used to be able to pick up my cards in store. Why can’t I do this anymore?
In the past, all gift cards were mailed to stores pre-activated. Before an order was given to our customers, they were required to make payment in store at the time of pickup. With our new enhanced process, since payment is made online in advance of receiving an order, there is no need to visit the store to make payment. Instead, we ship the gift cards directly to your place of business for a better customer experience and to save you from making an extra trip to the store. The new process is designed with our customers in mind to offer convenience, but also designed to ensure our Loblaw colleagues can spend more time serving our customers.
